{"id":24,"date":"2020-04-02T22:31:32","date_gmt":"2020-04-02T22:31:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maderaworkforce.org\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2025-09-29T16:42:02","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T16:42:02","slug":"regional-collaboration","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.maderaworkforce.org\/wdb\/regional-collaboration\/","title":{"rendered":"Regional Collaboration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Central California Workforce Collaborative (CCWC)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the CCWC consists of the leaders of the local workforce investment areas throughout the San Joaquin Valley from San Joaquin County through Kern County.\u00a0 The group meets every four-six weeks to share best practices, discuss policy priorities, and implement the regional plan for the area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sub-Regional One Stop Operator<\/strong> \u2013 the Madera, Kings, Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin County Workforce Development Boards have procured a sub-regional One-Stop Operator for the America\u2019s Job Centers in the areas.\u00a0 The current One-Stop Operator is TMG &#8211; The MUNOZ Group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rapid Response Round Table<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Board staff members from throughout the San Joaquin Valley region meet quarterly to share information regarding the impact of business closures and reductions in force impacting our communities and to develop proactive strategies to identify businesses at risk of contractions in order to minimize periods of unemployment and reduce potential lay-offs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>San Joaquin Valley Manufacturing Alliance<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The mission of the San Joaquin Valley Manufacturing Alliance (SJVMA) is to enhance and attract manufacturing in the San Joaquin Valley beginning with Fresno and Madera Counties. With the involvement of private enterprise, education and government, the primary objective is to build a manufacturing epicenter by leveraging Career Technical Education (CTE) programs in order to create a seamless transition from education to industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regional Grants and Projects \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Workforce Development Board of Madera County frequently partners with other Boards and partners throughout the region on special projects and grants.\u00a0 Examples include special grants to serve Veterans, English Language Learners, and Individuals with Disabilities to increase skill levels and connect these individuals to local high-quality employment opportunities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Central California Workforce Collaborative (CCWC)\u00a0\u2013 the CCWC consists of the leaders of the local workforce investment areas throughout the San Joaquin Valley from San Joaquin County through Kern County.\u00a0 The group meets every four-six weeks to share best practices, discuss policy priorities, and implement the regional plan for the area.
