Occupational Skills Training and Financial Aid

The Madera County Workforce Investment Corporation can assist individuals who are interested in training or upgrading their skills.  Training is provided in demand occupations through private schools and community colleges.  Individuals are encouraged to apply for financial aid benefits.  Madera County Workforce Investment Corporation can assist with supportive services; such as transportation, books, tools, uniforms, etc.  Contact a career specialist [contact us link] at the Workforce Assistance Center.

Fresno VAMC Work Study Program – Provides work study program for Veteran students, enabling them to earn money while also using their GI educational benefits
