The Workforce Assistance Center provides tools and guidance to help you get to work in a job that suits you best.  Whether you need to create an effective resume that reflects your transferable skills, or you need to practice interviewing and networking, the Workforce Assistance Center helps you gain the competitive advantage you need to land a job.

The Resource Room located at the Workforce Assistance Center has many services available to the public for their job search needs, including computers, fax machine, copier, phones, and daily job announcements from various employers.  Customers can also apply for Unemployment Insurance Benefits via phone or online.  Our staff is available in the Resource Room to assist with creating a resume, obtaining a Typing Test Certification, or navigating through one of the job search websites.  CalJOBS, the California labor exchange system, allows job seekers to create resumes that can be seen by employers, search the full service employment center for job openings, and more.
